A long held dream has become a reality. The Family Service Center featuring Canada’s first Education Bank supports low-income families with learning resources/materials and a technology hub. It will be a place where we can continue to encourage and support parent engagement in a variety of ways.

The Family Service Centre is located in Scarborough.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, families must make an appointment to come into the Family Service Centre/Education Bank.

We work hard to improve student achievement by encouraging parent engagement

Research shows that parent involvement in a child’s education will result in increased achievement at school.

Parents being involved in their child’s education will result in better attendance, more confidence and the greater possibility of them graduating.

Parents Engaged in Education works hard every day to develop and provide tools to parents to engage with their child to increase their achievement at school.

Dream Big

Our new multi-year plan to engage parents and school communities to DREAM BIG for all students is coming soon!

Research shows that when parents DREAM BIG for their child, they will strive to meet these aspirations. When school communities DREAM BIG for all students they become positive environments where all students are supported to achieve their potential and their dreams!

Parents Engaged in Education have completed our first multi-year plan to encourage every student, parent, teacher and administrator in the province of Ontario to DREAM BIG! We are currently planning our next multi-year plan and will share those details when they are ready.

Dream Tree

Parents Engaged in Education created the DREAM TREE messaging banner as a visible tool for schools to encourage all students to DREAM BIG! The DREAM TREE has over 150 blank leaves for parents and students to write their dreams for themselves and their school communities. The DREAM TREE will be a living example of the dreams of all those who make up the school community and is a constant reminder for students to strive to be the best that they can be.

Our DREAM TREE banner is perfect for every school to encourage parents, students and educators to write their dreams as it stands as a living positive example of a school where everyone DREAMS BIG and works towards all students achieving their goals!

To get information on how your school can purchase the DREAM TREE banner please click here . These banners are sold on a cost recovery basis only.
